New Cliff Face Battleboards

Just finished these extension cliff Battleboards for an existing client who purchased a board set last year. He wanted a raised backdrop to the boards he already had, so we came up with this stunning waterfall and secret worship area, this small area can have other items placed in it, like towers or large stone or bolt throwers. The two cliff section are double backed, so can be viewed from both sides and were design also to fit together.

Sewer Canal System to add to your existing Battleboards

We have been developing a canal system for some time and feel we are finally getting there now. You can see from these images how far we have got. The canals can have painted water or resin water effect. Mind you the resin water will be heavy and is not an easy thing to achieve. These will be special order accessories, so let us know if you are interested and we will let you know when they will be available.

Looks Like Winter Is Upon Us Again !

Yes, winter has definitely arrived back with us, with a light dusting of snow on the ground this morning, I thought it would be a great opportunity to share some of the new winter trees with you, the Battleboards ‘Tree Man’ has been working on.

They seem to suit the wintery climate we are currently getting as well as any winter setting gaming boards.

Just to show that we are not all about creating large Battleboards terrain layouts, I though I would share these small custom made movable terrain accessories that we made for the desert Battleboards. They take a bit of time to make and can add invaluable cover for advancing troops and vehicles, making it possible to create different terrain layouts or surround objectives with impenetrable rock clusters.

Flames of War – Desert Battleboards

Good news, we have just completed these x8 desert Battleboards for a client, who wanted a large gaming table to play out his WWII desert campaigns. Playing at 15mm figure scale using the Flames of War rule set, means you get a lot of terrain for the amount of space you play on. This set included switchable hills, dry river bed and a wadi complete with detailed brass etched palm trees. The table measures 8ft x 4ft and is made up of x8 Battleboards each 2ft x 2ft board was individually made to the client own specifications.

Necron Battleboards design – Alternative Colour Scheme

The great thing about working up your designs in 3D, it is much easier to make changes to the design, allowing you to explore different colour option or schemes that you maybe thinking about.

Here are the Necron Virtual Battleboards in an alternative colour scheme, we decided to explore a diferent colour option that was not so green.. so went for a more grey barren look, which is often seen in Sci-fi move with say aliens in

We have also added crystals & large crevasses which glow an eerie green.

Here’s something a bit different from us, we were asked to design some Battleboards for Games Workshops, Warhammer 40K world for a Necron Home planet.

We decided that it would be great, to do a dark barren landscape which had a Necron iridescent green glow about them, we will include dark crystal out crops and fissures that cross the battlefield too (not illustrated)

Great news we have finally started to adding our new range of custom made trees to the shop

These fantastic trees our made by the ‘Battleboards Tree Man‘ who has dedicated his life to mastering this very difficult subject, each tree is meticulously hand made to perfection, and just about any tree can be made or developed. Each tree is made from a natural dried root, so no two trees are ever the same. We will be adding more varieties of trees, bushes & scrubs as we think them up. If you have something you think you particularly need for your wargaming boards or even a diorama then drop us a email.

Just got this from the chap that bought some custom cherry’s tree, he lives in Austria

‘I just wanted to let you know that the trees arrived yesterday, without taking any damage

And how beautiful they are, especially when looking at the three of them together.
